Take our Burren Wild
Tour Bus from Galway along the coast line through
the pretty fishing village of Kinvara and the Medieval Banqueting
Castle of Dunguaire out to the village of Oughtmama in the heart
of the Burren.
From here take a gentle
walking tour lasting 1 hour and a bit with your local guide
John Connolly in to the Burren mountains. The walking tour starts
off from our 200 year old family farm, and continuing
up into the hills, where you will discover a maze of archaeological
and historical sites. Our tour takes you out of the bus and across disappearing
rivers, over ancient walls to holy-wells, stone age burial sites and forgotten
forts.

After our walk we, board the
bus and head to Poulnabrone Dolmen a megalithic burial
tomb dating to 2500BC. Then on through Lisdoonvarna to
the awesome Cliffs of Moher, rising a sheer 210
meters from the ocean below. (this is also the lunch stop on
the tour) Afterwards we make our way down to Doolin Village
Home of traditional Irish music The road then winds down
to black head where we follow the coast road to Galway
city, we arrive at 5pm approx.
Our tours combine a site-seeing
bus excursion with a gentle mountain walking.
Your guide John Connolly has a B.A. Degree in Irish Heritage
(so he knows what he is talking about).
He is the only guide in Ireland to give tours on his family land.

see our cows and sheep and dogs, then you get to go in the hills smell
alpine flowers, touch fossilises 360 million years old,
play on a 250 yr old stone slide, you learn about our history and culture.

warm and dry.
We are the cheapest tour that combines an activity and a visit to the
Cliffs of Moher.

Our Burren Wild
Tour bus departs from Galway 7 days a week at 10 am from
the Bus Station on Fairgreen Road, Galway (Opposite the Tourist Office).
Tickets cost 22 Euros for a student and 25 Euros for an adult.

Please Note:
All other tour companies running from Galway to the Cliffs will charge
you a further 8 Euro to do an activity ( but not us ).
