This tour departs daily at 10.40am from our traditional farm house, (how to find us) the tour last 1 hour 30 minutes approx and costs €10 per person.

This is a gentle walking tour, going through the connolly family farm and up in to the hills where you will discover a maze of archaeological and early Christian sites. Our tour takes you out of the car and across disappearing rivers, over ancient walls to holy-wells, stone age burial sites and forgotten forts.

This tour is suitable for the whole family and can be tailored to suit every level of ability.

12.15pm Tour
This tour is by appointment only and departs at 12.15pm from our traditional farm house, (how to find us) the tour last 2 hours 30 minutes and costs €25 per person.

This tour is for people with a little more time available and fancy stretching their legs.

A hike deep in to the mountains of Oughtmama, This walk starts off on the rich meadow low lands, and follows a trail to the skeleton rock. The signature of past ice ages can be seen scripted on the landscape, punctuated by giant boulders. The wild nature of this walk will alert your sense to the contrasting colours and aromas that are richly present. As you walk your guide will introduce you to the myth and lore of this ancient place. Learn of Celtic spirituality, the folklore and legends that have connected these people to an ever changing landscape.

This tour allows you a little more time to discover the history and culture of this unique landscape. While on tour your guide will treat you to tea prepared in a Volcano Kettle from mountain spring water.
